Shriram General Insurance unveils Shri Health Suraksha Plan
The policy covers hospitalisation expenses such as room charges.
Shriram General Insurance (SGIC) launched its first indemnity health insurance plan, Shri Health Suraksha Insurance.
The plan offers a wide range of medical treatments, including modern procedures and AYUSH therapies. It also enables nationwide access to cashless treatment at over 13,000 network hospitals, with flexible options for individuals and families.
SGIC MD & CEO Anil Aggarwal highlighted that the plan is designed to protect policyholders from financial strain during medical emergencies.
It offers competitive premiums, particularly for family floater plans, and aims to make quality healthcare accessible to all.
The policy covers hospitalisation expenses such as room charges, ICU fees, doctors' fees, ambulance services, and daycare procedures.
It is available for individuals and families, covering children as young as three months and including parents and in-laws.
Policyholders can choose from multiple sum-insured options and benefit from a cumulative bonus for claim-free years.
A grace period of 15 to 30 days is provided, depending on the premium payment mode, to maintain continuity benefits.
