Singlife consolidates 1,200 employees into Straits View site
The insurer now occupies about 74,000 square feet across three floors.
Singlife has moved its headquarters to Marina One, consolidating staff from several offices into a single location at Straits View.
The insurer now occupies about 74,000 square feet across three floors at Marina One, housing more than 1,200 employees.
The move brings together teams previously based at SGX Centre 2, 51 Cuppage Road and OUE Downtown 2, including its subsidiaries Singlife Financial Advisers, GROW with Singlife and PROPEL with Singlife.
Singlife said the consolidation is aimed at improving productivity and collaboration, with more open and flexible workspaces, shared facilities and event areas.
Alongside the relocation, Singlife opened a new customer service centre on level one of Marina One, known as The Heart.
The centre was designed with input from SG Enable and includes accessibility features such as wheelchair-friendly service counters, priority queues for seniors, inclusive signage and hearing assistance technology. Customers can also book appointments online.
The relocation is expected to reduce electricity use by more than 95,000 kWh a year. Singlife said it reused over 1,400 pieces of furniture, installed energy-efficient lighting and used greener materials as part of its sustainability efforts. The company is targeting net zero emissions by 2050.
Marina One is LEED-certified and has received the BCA Green Mark Platinum rating.
Group CEO Pearlyn Phau said the new office supports the company’s next phase of growth and will help teams work more closely as Singlife continues to serve customers and partners.
