Specialist Risk Group appoints new APAC CEO

He will begin his term early next year.

Specialist Risk Group (SRG) appointed Collin Yap as chief executive officer (CEO) of Asia Pacific, effective after his current contract ends early next year. 

The company said this appointment is part of SRG's plan to expand in the region, following the acquisition of Singapore-based HL Suntek Insurance Brokers, pending regulatory approval.

Collin Yap has over 20 years of leadership experience in the insurance sector. He most recently served as CEO of Marsh McLennan Singapore, where he drove growth and innovation. 

Before that, he was CEO of JLT Singapore. Collin brings expertise in the Asia Pacific market and a strong track record of building high-performing teams, positioning him well to lead SRG’s regional expansion.
