Taiwan appoints Peng as FSC chair to enhance financial hub
Peng Jing-Jung is also an associate dean of the College of Commerce at National Chengchi University.
Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) will be headed by insurance professor Peng Jin-lung, reported the Central News Agency (CNA).
Peng will be taking over Chairperson Huang Tien-mu. Peng is also the associate dean of the College of Commerce at National Chengchi University.

Premier-designate Cho Jung-tai stated that Peng’s responsibility will involve pushing Taiwan as a financial hub and combating financial fraud issues in the economy.
Peng holds more than 20 years of experience in the Insurance department of the Ministry of Finance and led the role of chairman of the Taiwan Risk and Insurance Society from 2022 to 2023.
