Takaful Malaysia revenue surges 18% in 2022

It earned a total of $830m for the year.

Takaful Malaysia recorded an 18% growth in its revenue for the full financial year (FY2022) ended 31 December 2022.

Its financial report stated that it earned a total of RM3.76b ($835m) for FY2022, compared to RM3.18b ($705m) from the previous fiscal year (FY2021).

They also recorded a 14% increase in earnings before zakat (obligatory payment) and tax to RM500m ($110.97m) year-on-year from RM439m ($97.35m) in FY2021.

According to the report, the increase was due to the higher sales from both the company’s Family Takaful and General Takaful businesses.
