Tokio Marine Kiln taps new head for APAC unit

He previously worked at Zurich.

Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) appointed Yixiang Yang as Head of Accident and Health, Asia Pacific (APAC), effective immediately.

Yang brings nearly two decades of underwriting experience to his new role at TMK. He previously served as the line of business head for accident and health at Zurich in Singapore, where he significantly grew the A&H team and managed a rapidly expanding book. 

Before Zurich, Yang worked as a Distribution Manager at AXA, developing business opportunities and strengthening broker relationships across Asia. 

This appointment aligns with TMK's goal of doubling premiums through its Lloyd’s Asia platform by 2027. Earlier this year, TMK bolstered its property team with Jonathan Grossman's appointment as an underwriter in Singapore.
