
Vietnam state insurer app logs 38% insured users in digital shift
Nearly 2.5 million customer interactions were recorded last year.
Viet Nam Social Security (VSS) reported that as of end-2024, 38% of insured individuals had installed and logged into the VssID digital app, signaling their progress in digital transformation.
Also, nearly 2.5 million customer interactions were handled via various channels, improving public access to insurance policies.
Last year, over 18.9 million files were processed at a 98.5% completion rate.
VSS integrated all its public services into its portal, with 66 online services linked to the National Public Service Portal, surpassing government targets.
Structural streamlining continued, reducing 58 provincial offices and consolidating four district-level offices.
Civil service reforms emphasized discipline and efficiency, with 235 internal inspections conducted.
The agency also pushed for digital payments, exceeding targets with 80% of beneficiaries receiving payments via personal bank accounts.
