Willis appoints Azad Kumar as growth lead for India sectors

He will be based in Mumbai.

Willis, a business of WTW, has appointed Azad Kumar as Growth Leader for its Energy, Construction and Marine segments in India. 

He will be based in Mumbai and will oversee strategy and client support for these core industry verticals.

The appointment comes as India pushes ahead with major infrastructure and industrial development projects, from offshore construction and port upgrades to oil & gas, power plants, and large-scale engineering works. 

Kumar brings more than 26 years of experience across broking and insurance in India. 

His background includes risk advisory for offshore and energy projects, oil & gas infrastructure, and strategic consulting for financial institutions and global reinsurers.
