Willis selects Anant Pawar to lead aviation insurance in India

He brings over 27 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. 

Willis, a WTW business, appointed Anant Pawar as Aviation & Space leader for India.

In this role, he will provide aviation insurance broking expertise and solutions to clients across the country.

Pawar brings over 27 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. 

He has a background in aviation and space, reinsurance, and liability, and has previously led projects including securing a Lloyd's license for India and expanding Managing General Agent (MGA) capacity to create an India-specific Aviation Consortium.

Before joining Willis, Pawar held senior roles at Global Insurance Brokers Private Limited (GIB), where he contributed to the company’s growth.
