WTW appoints new lead for M&A in APAC, Africa

He has worked as a lawyer at Norton Rose and co-founded Risk Capital Advisors.

WTW has appointed Steven Torresan as head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A)  in its Financial & Executive Risks (FINEX) business for Asia Pacific and Africa, effective immediately.

Based in Sydney, Steven previously led WTW’s M&A practice for Australasia. 

He has worked as a lawyer at Norton Rose and co-founded Risk Capital Advisors (RCA), a specialist M&A broker in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, which WTW acquired in 2019.

Steven will work closely with Alex Keville, Global Head of M&A and Private Equity; Terence Montgomery, Head of M&A, Asia; and Guy Miller and Andrew Stubbings, RCA co-founders who will co-head the M&A Australasia business within WTW’s FINEX team.
