Zurich APAC appoints two leaders to sharpen commercial push

Both roles are based in Singapore and cover regional commercial insurance operations.

Zurich Insurance Company (Singapore) Ltd. has announced two senior leadership appointments to its Asia-Pacific commercial insurance business, based in Singapore.

Giles Crowley has been appointed head of Customer and Distribution Management for the Asia-Pacific region. 

Crowley has worked at Zurich for 30 years in technical, distribution, and leadership positions across several regions. 

He moves from his previous role as head of Commercial Markets, General Insurance for Australia and New Zealand. 

In his new position, he is responsible for managing all distribution channels, broker relationships, and customer engagement across Asia-Pacific (APAC).

Kin Lee has been promoted to head of Energy for APAC. 

Lee joined Zurich in 2023 as Head of Onshore Energy in Singapore, having previously held senior underwriting roles in energy, property, and construction across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. 

He began his career as a civil engineer. In his new role, he will manage the regional energy underwriting strategy, portfolio management, and new product development.
