Zurich appoints new heads for Property and Financial Lines in Singapore unit

Both have leadership experiences.

Zurich Insurance Company (Singapore) Ltd. has appointed Christy Yeo as head of Property and Wendy Ong as head of Financial Lines for its Singapore Commercial Insurance business.

They will also oversee underwriting capabilities and the execution of strategic priorities for Zurich Singapore.

Yeo, who has been with Zurich for 12 years, previously served as head of Upstream Energy.

She will continue to manage the Upstream Energy portfolio in addition to her new role. She has over 20 years of experience in the industry.Ong joined Zurich in 2018 and most recently managed the Directors & Officers and Financial Institutions product lines. 
 

She also led the wholesale facultative reinsurance underwriting strategy for Financial Lines.

Both Yeo and Ong will report to Alexandra Cowley, Chief Underwriting Officer for Zurich Singapore.
