Zurich Malaysia introduces first market complementary motorcycle warranty

It also includes breakdown towing service of up to 60 km.

Zurich General Insurance Malaysia Berhad (ZGIMB) launched two new motorcycle insurance plans, which offer a complimentary extended warranty and coverage for motorcycles under 250cc.

With over 16 million motorcycles in Malaysia, Zurich said it aims to aid the needs of riders through Z-Rider (EW) and Z-Rider (Plus)

The Z-Rider (EW) is a market-first addition, offering a complimentary extended warranty. The key benefits include breakdown towing service (of up to 60 km) and RM5,500 personal accident coverage.

Meanwhile, the Z-Rider (Plus) is designed for motorcycles under 250cc. This plan provides a wider range of benefits tailored to diverse rider needs. Similar to the Z-Rider, additional benefits include flood allowance of up to RM1,000 and accident towing worth RM100.
