Zurich-owned Cover-More Group gets new CEO

The appointment is in line with Zurich’s acquisition of a travel insurance arm.

Zurich-owned Cover-More Group has appointed David Fike as the new chief executive officer, a company LinkedIn post said.

His appointment comes after Zurich Insurance’s plan to acquire AIG’s Travel Guard for $600m, and a potential additional earn-out-payment.

Fike currently serves as the head of Life, Accident & Health (LAH) at Zurich Group’s North America business and will continue to lead this division alongside his new responsibilities at Cover-More Group. He will report to Cara Morton, CEO of Zurich Global Ventures.

David Fike’s leadership is expected to drive Cover-More Group’s expansion and integration efforts following the acquisition, positioning the company for continued growth in the global travel insurance market.
