Axa Global Healthcare names James Swatton as HK senior distribution leader

Swatton joins from Bupa.

AXA Global Healthcare has appointed James Swatton as senior distribution leader in Hong Kong.

Swatton is tasked with further strengthening and expanding AXA Global Healthcare’s team, driving growth into new regional markets, and collaborating closely with partners and internal stakeholders, the healthcare insurer said in a press statement.

Swatton was most recently head of commercial sales at International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) at Bupa, a health insurance and healthcare provider. He previously served as Bupa’s head of client management prior to that role.

He had also served as Hong Kong general manager for a regional insurance broker.
