Munich Re appoints Surbhi Goel as head of property & casualty in SG, SEA

She has over 20 years of experience.

Munich Re has announced that Surbhi Goel, managing director and head, property & casualty, will take on the responsibility for the business in Singapore and Asia beginning 1 July.

Goel reports to Roland Eckl, chief executive – of Japan, India, Korea, Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Goel joined Munich Re in Singapore in April this year from the Group’s joint venture in India, HDFC ERGO, where she held a senior role responsible for Reinsurance, Property and Casualty Underwriting. 

She has 20 years of experience in reinsurance, business development, structuring and procurement, according to Munich Re.
