Singlife offers one year free life insurance coverage to caregivers

It is given to the first 200 who successfully sign up for SG Assist’s new membership programme.

Singlife is now offering caregivers complimentary Group Term Life insurance coverage for one year.

The insurance coverage, launched in partnership with social enterprise firm SG Assist, is available to the first 200 caregivers who successfully sign up for SG Assist’s new CaregiverCircle membership programme, which was first launched on 15 October.

It offers a payout of S$100,000 to the nominated beneficiary in the unfortunate event of death, terminal illness, or total and permanent disability of the insured caregiver.

Singlife is also extending an exclusive 15% discount on first-year premiums for Singlife CareShield Standard and CareShield Plus to all SG Assist CaregiverCircle members until 31 December 2023.

“We hope that with this insurance coverage, they will have greater peace of mind to focus on better care for their loved ones and their own well-being,” said Richard Vargo, group head of Products, Propositions and Transformation, Singlife.
