Fi Life Sdn Bhd is co-founded by Malaysians Malek Ali and Tan Jiann Meng. Its operations in Malaysia began with the acquisition of the life insurance distribution business U For Life, Malaysia's first direct-to-consumer online life insurance service, in 2018. Today, it is an approved Insurtech participant of the Bank Negara Malaysia Regulatory Sandbox.
