Prou Sythan

Prou Sythan is the CEO of Forte Life Assurance and a recognised regional leader in Asia’s insurance and financial services sector. He pioneered Cambodia’s life insurance industry, having launched major bancassurance partnerships and shaped market development since 2012. 

Sythan is a trusted voice in regulatory reform and public advocacy, serving on key national and Asia-level committees.
He holds law degrees from King’s College London and Yokohama National University. 

His leadership has earned honours including Asia Insurance Review’s Young Leader of the Year (2021), Asian Legal Business’s 40 Under 40 (2018) and the Medal of the National Merit (the Highest Royal Order) in 2025 from His Majesty the King of Cambodia.

Raymond Ong

As the firm's CEO, Raymond brings to Etiqa a demonstrated track record of strategic leadership with more than 27 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industry, having held a broad range of senior management roles during his career, with experience in actuarial, product development, risk management, and strategic finance.

 A qualified actuary, he started his career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics (1st Class Honours) from the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK.

Raymond has participated in several workgroups at the industry level, including being a member of the Risk Management Working Group of the Institute of Banking and Finance, supporting the MAS-LIA Insurance Culture and Conduct Committee, and being on the Green Finance Working Group of the MAS Financial Centre Advisory Panel.

Richard Gerdis

Richard Gerdis is Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific & Japan at LogicMonitor, where he leads the company’s go-to-market strategy and operations. With deep expertise in enterprise software and cloud infrastructure, Gerdis is focused on accelerating regional growth through direct sales, channel partnerships, and strategic alliances.

A seasoned executive with a proven track record of scaling high-performance teams, Gerdis is passionate about helping customers modernise their IT operations and gain end-to-end visibility across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. 

Before joining LogicMonitor, he held senior leadership roles at prominent technology companies including CA Technologies, AnyVision, and Delphix, where he championed digital transformation and cultivated high-impact customer ecosystems across the Asia Pacific and Japan region.

Ron Tam, a seasoned fintech executive with 15+ years of experience in corporate strategy and capital markets, assumes dual leadership roles as International CEO of Poni Insurtech and Co-CFO of Huize Holding Limited.  Ron also serves as Executive Director of Poni Financial Advisory Pte. Ltd., reinforcing the group's commitment to building a robust wealth advisory platform in Singapore.

With a distinguished investment banking background at Goldman Sachs and Daiwa Capital Markets, Ron brings proven expertise in IPOs, fundraising, and strategic M&A.

In his capacity as International CEO, Ron will drive Poni Insurtech's global expansion, financial innovation, and strategic investments, while his Co-CFO role ensures alignment between Huize's domestic operations and international growth initiatives.
