HSBC Life Hong Kong floats two customisable plans

Clients can pick their coverage based on life-stage needs.

HSBC Life Hong Kong has launched two new products that allows customers to choose their protection coverage based on their life-stage needs, according to a news release.

The Voluntary Health Insurance Flexi Plan offers annual benefits of up to $5.1m (HK$40m) with full coverage for hospitalisation and surgical fees with no sub-limits, full cover for both surgical and non-surgical cancer treatment expenses, no waiting period for unknown pre-existing conditions, cashless arrangement to minimise upfront out-of-pocket expenses, home nursing benefits, flexible options and a maximum annual deduction of $1,032 (HK$8,000) per policy.

HSBC Family Protector is an online-exclusive product that will let clients pick from as many as 84 benefit combinations to customise a yearly renewable term life plan. The life coverage, with a daily premium as low as $1.41 (HK$10.93), could reach up to $900,000 (HK$7m).
