AIA agrees to APAC venture with healthtech Holmusk

Digital health coaching tools will be first offered to Malaysian clients.

AIA and data science firm Holmusk have agreed to an exclusive APAC partnership which will allow the insurer to digitally grant health coaching tools to clients.

The new service will be launched first to AIA customers in Malaysia, with the two firms working to launch in other markets subsequently.

AIA will be incorporating Holmusk’s nutrition coaching services into AIA Vitality’s nutrition, weight management and chronic disease management propositions, said director of group health & wellness transformation Dr. Christian Wards.

“By doing so, we will create a unique and personalised health platform that utilises Artificial Intelligence-based engagement tools and digitally enables personalised pathways for our customers, improving access, convenience, and health outcomes,” he added.

AIA customers will also gain access to personal health coaching services based on their specific needs via Holmusk's network of nutritionists and dietitians.
