Ping An granted top 1% in ESG amongst Chinese firms: S&P

S&P Global debuts its China edition of the Global Sustainability Yearbook.

Ping An Insurance has been recognised as part of the "Best 1% of Chinese Companies” in first-ever S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook (China edition).

Amongst 1,600 Chinese companies included, Ping An was the only insurance company part of the top 1% which had the highest environmental, social, and governance (ESG) score.

In 2022, the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) team conducted a thorough evaluation of companies based in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.

Out of these, 88 companies representing 44 different industries were chosen to be featured in the Sustainability Yearbook 2023 (China Edition). 

Since 2008, S&P Global has been publishing The Sustainability Yearbook annually, aiming to acknowledge companies worldwide that achieve top S&P Global ESG scores within various industries.
