Chubb reveals return of Ben Carey as head of field operations APAC

Prior to his role in Everest, Carey spent 19 years at Chubb.

Chubb has announced the appointment of Ben Carey as Head of Field Operations, Asia Pacific, starting in the first quarter of 2024. 

In this newly created role, Carey will oversee Chubb's field organisation, which spans 12 markets and 69 branch offices in the region. 

His responsibilities will include delivering a range of capabilities and services to agency and broker distribution partners.

Based in Singapore, Carey will report to Paul McNamee, Regional President of Asia Pacific, and become a member of the company's Asia Pacific Executive Committee.

Carey brings over 20 years of experience in senior management and underwriting positions. He joins Chubb from Everest, where he served as the Regional Head of Insurance for Asia and Chief Executive, Singapore. 

Prior to this, Carey spent 19 years at Chubb, holding various roles across Asia Pacific, London, and New York, including Head of Distribution & Client Management, Asia, and Senior Vice President of A&H, Overseas General Insurance.
