Singlife bolsters healthcare plan solutions through partnership

Policyholders will have direct access to IHHSG's network of hospitals and specialist clinics.

Singlife, a Singapore-based financial services company, joined forces with IHH Healthcare Singapore (IHHSG), Southeast Asia's private integrated healthcare provider.

This collaboration aims to tackle the challenge of managing healthcare costs effectively while enhancing the customer experience.

IHHSG operates renowned hospitals like Gleneagles Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, and Parkway East Hospital.

Single policyholders in Singapore will benefit from affordable, personalised, and trusted healthcare solutions through this partnership.

Singapore's rising healthcare costs have garnered significant attention on the national agenda.

Starting from 9 September, Singlife Shield and Singlife Health Plus policyholders will have direct access to IHHSG's extensive network of hospitals and specialist clinics without requiring prior authorisation from their insurer for in-patient care.

This network includes over 500 accredited medical specialists across various fields, managed by iXchange – the Third-Party Administrator of IHHSG.

This approach streamlines the admission process, enabling policyholders to undergo medical treatment without hassle and with cashless transactions.

Parkway Cancer Centre will be added as Singlife's latest preferred medical provider for Singlife Cancer Cover Plus, complementing the inclusion of Icon Cancer Centre back in December 2022.

Singlife Shield Starter, the first digital-only Shield insurance policy in Singapore, offers basic coverage of S$20,000 per policy year for an annual cash payment of S$1 for the accompanying rider.
