HSBC Life Singapore unveils new CEO

Harpreet Bindra will oversee the company’s business strategy in Singapore.

HSBC has selected Harpreet Bindra as the Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Life Singapore, pending regulatory approvals. 

With over twenty years of leadership background in the insurance and financial services sector, including his recent role as the Global Head of Strategy and Business Development at HSBC, Bindra will assume the responsibility of steering HSBC Life Singapore. 

His role will involve spearheading the implementation of the company's strategy within the dynamic insurance and wealth market of Singapore.

HSBC Life Singapore stands as the group's insurance arm within the Singaporean market. It emerged through the integration of AXA Insurance (AXA Singapore) and HSBC Insurance (Singapore) (HSBC Insurance) in February 2023 via a scheme of transfer. 

This integration followed HSBC's acquisition of AXA Singapore in February 2022.
