CEO Brian Wang hopes to get opportunities in the manufacturing, agriculture, financial and technology sectors.

Gallagher has inaugurated a new insurance brokerage in Taiwan, which will be led by Chief Executive Officer Brian Wang.

With expertise in national and international operations, Wang aims to provide risk management and insurance solutions.

The team in Taipei, specialising in property & casualty, marine, construction, cyber, trade credit, financial lines, energy, and employee benefits services, includes professionals from Gallagher Re's global reinsurance and aviation teams.

The expansion aligns with Gallagher's growing Asia operations, now spanning Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

Formerly under the Alexander Leed brand, the team's local experience strengthens Gallagher's ability to offer tailored products and services in the Taiwanese market.

Wang anticipates significant opportunities, particularly in the country's active manufacturing, agriculture, financial, and technology sectors.
