Smartpay and Chubb have formed a partnership to develop digital insurance products tailored to the needs of Japanese consumers.

With the insurance market expected to reach JPY80t by 2027, Smartpay and Chubb aim to capitalise on this opportunity through embedded insurance – such as insurance alongside products like furniture and travel packages at checkout.
