Lifenet, Eisai develops dementia insurance coverage

The plan includes coverage from the mild cognitive impairment stage of dementia.

Lifenet Insurance Company and Eisai Co. have jointly developed Dementia Insurance "be," aimed at supporting early detection and treatment of dementia and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) as part of their collaboration under a capital and business alliance agreement signed in August 2022.

The insurance product "be" aims to support early detection and treatment, leveraging Eisai's expertise in drug discovery and disease awareness in dementia and Lifenet's experience in insurance products and services.

Key features of dementia insurance "be" include generous coverage from the MCI stage, providing policyholders with various treatment options.

Brenavi, available to everyone, offers brain-related information, brain training games, brain-stimulating exercises, and a forgetfulness consultation service.
