Chinese insurance tech meets auto giants in new deal

The company plans to develop a solution for traditional automakers in two years.

Cheche Group, an auto insurance technology platform in China, has announced a partnership with Laoyou Insurance Brokerage, a subsidiary of Great Wall Motor Company (GWM).

GWM is one of China’s top ten automakers, primarily producing SUVs and pick-up trucks under brands such as Haval, Wey, Tank, Poer, and Ora.

Cheche's insurance solutions have been integrated into GWM's direct-sales network, operated by Great Wall Smart Selection Information Technology (Baoding), in over 20 cities across China.

The company also plans to develop an insurance solution for traditional automakers within the next one to two years.
