Ardonagh merges PSC’s ANZ operations with Envest

This makes it one of the top privately owned insurance distribution companies in Australia.

The Ardonagh Group has finalised its acquisition of PSC Insurance Group, expanding its operations in the Asia Pacific region.

The company also said the combination makes the entity one of the top privately owned insurance distribution companies in Australia, handling A$3.3b in gross written premiums annually.

The merger integrates PSC's operations in Australia and New Zealand with The Envest Group, Ardonagh’s regional platform led by chief executive officer Greg Mullins.

PSC’s portfolio, which includes notable brands like Paragon and Carrolls, will enhance Ardonagh’s Specialty and UK Advisory platforms in wholesale and retail broking.

The company said the acquisition will also boost Ardonagh’s position in both the Australasian and global insurance markets, adding 900 new employees and over 40 trading brands across multiple countries including Australia, the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, and New Zealand.
