Specialist Risk Group expands to Asia, sets base in Singapore

A non-executive director has been appointed.

Specialist Risk Group (SRG), a specialist insurance intermediary backed by Warburg Pincus and Temasek, is expanding to Asia Pacific with a new base in Singapore. 

SRG, known for risk solutions, plans to replicate its UK business model in the region.

As part of its expansion, SRG has signed an agreement to acquire Singapore-based HL Suntek Insurance Brokers from Hong Leong Holdings.

To support its growth in Asia Pacific, SRG has appointed Chua Eng Leong as non-executive director of its Singapore subsidiary.
