Prudential launches insurtech solutions MedScreen+

The solution was launched in partnership with Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated.

Prudential Hong Kong Limited (Prudential) has partnered with Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (RGA) to launch MedScreen+, an innovative digital underwriting tool.

RGA is a holding company for a global life and health reinsurance entity based in the US.

By leveraging optical character recognition (OCR) and AI technology, along with RGA’s digital underwriting engine, MedScreen+ can assess medical reports in less than half the time needed when using traditional methods.

MedScreen+ can process over 160 lab tests, including blood tests, ultrasounds, urine tests, ECG, CXR, CT chest, and other tests, to assess a variety of routine health check-ups and medical requirements and provide underwriting outcomes.
