FM appoints new COO

Hodge joined FM in 1990.

Property insurer, FM, named Randy Hodge as its new chief operating officer (COO). 

Hodge will take over the COO role from Bret Ahnell, who retires in March 2025. The appointment will be effective on 1 December.

Hodge, who joined FM in 1990, has held various leadership roles, including field engineer, operations manager for Atlanta, and most recently, executive vice president of staff insurance operations. 

His experience also includes positions as group manager, client service manager, and chief underwriting officer.

Hodge holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from California State University.
