Allianz Trade appoints new Korea country manager

He joined Allianz Trade in 2015.

Allianz Trade in Asia Pacific has appointed Wongi Kim as country manager for South Korea, effective1 April. 

He succeeds Andy Ryoo, who is retiring after a 22-year career with the company.

Kim joined Allianz Trade in 2015 as Business Development Manager and was promoted to Commercial Manager in 2023, overseeing business development and account management.

Before joining Allianz Trade, he spent over eight years at Seoul Guarantee Insurance Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Dongguk University.
