Allianz Trade taps Rodrigo Jimenez as APAC CEO

He will replace Paul Flanagan, who is retiring after 34 years.

Allianz Trade has announced that Rodrigo Jimenez will become the Asia Pacific Regional CEO effective 1 October 2025. 

He will replace Paul Flanagan, who is retiring after 34 years with the company. 

A transition period will begin on 1 July. Jimenez joined Allianz Trade in 2014 as CEO in Brazil. 

Since 2021, he has served as regional commercial director for Northern Europe and has been a member of the Regional Management Team. 

In that role, he contributed to business development, portfolio retention, and worked closely with the Risk department. 

Jimenez holds an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral and a degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo.
