Amundi names Jian Xiong Asia insurance specialist in Singapore

Xiong brings over 15 years of experience.

Amundi has appointed Jian Xiong as Asia Insurance Specialist, effective 5 May 2025.

Based in Singapore, Jian will report to Eddy Wong, CEO for Asia, and Lawrence Wee, head of Institutional Sales, South Asia. 

His role focuses on expanding Amundi’s investment offerings and tailored solutions for insurance clients across the region.

Xiong brings over 15 years of experience spanning asset management, insurance, and banking. He most recently served as senior director in the APAC Insurance Solutions team at abrdn and is a member of the Expert Committee at the Insurance Asset Management Association of China. 

He previously held senior roles at China Life Insurance Singapore and Prudential Assurance.

Xiong holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore and is both a CFA and FRM charter holder.
