Zurich Malaysia has introduced "Z Buddy," an AI-powered virtual assistant aimed at supporting its insurance and takaful distribution network.
Accessible via WhatsApp, Z Buddy provides real-time support to Zurich Malaysia agents, handling inquiries related to travel and motor insurance or takaful, claims procedures, and general product coverage.
The tool is available 24/7, helping agents reduce turnaround time for routine tasks.
The AI initiative forms part of Zurich Malaysia’s internal digital transformation efforts, which focus on automating repetitive processes, improving data accuracy, and equipping staff with smart tools to drive operational efficiency.
Zurich Malaysia plans to expand Z Buddy’s capabilities in the coming months.
