Allianz Commercial Japan names Brian Jinzenji as new President

Additionally, Yuchiro Funabashi was tapped as the new Executive Vice President. 

Allianz Commercial has appointed Brian Jinzenji as the new President and Representative Director of Allianz Fire and Marine Insurance Japan Ltd. (Allianz Commercial Japan), effective 1 August.

He will be succeeding Ken Motoda, who has retired from the company after leading the branch for 13 years.

Jinzenji brings over three decades of industry experience, most recently serving as the Representative of Japan and CEO of Munich Re’s local branch.

Before that, he also held leadership roles at AXA Assistance Japan and AIU Insurance Company.

Additionally, Yuchiro Funabashi was named Representative Director and Executive Vice President of Allianz Commercial Japan, effective 25 July.

Already serving as Director and Division Manager of the Underwriting Division and General Manager of Financial Lines, Funabashi has been with the company for seven years and will work alongside Jinzenji.
