Allianz Trade appoints Tetsushi Kitano as Thailand country manager

Kitano has been with the trade credit insurer for more than 17 years.

Allianz Trade has appointed Tetsushi Kitano as country manager for its Thailand operations, effective 1 September.

Kitano has been with the trade credit insurer for more than 17 years, holding roles in Japan and Hong Kong. 

He began his career with Allianz Trade in Tokyo in 2008 as a commercial underwriter before moving to Hong Kong in 2012 as business development manager and later head of the Japan desk. 

In 2017, he returned to Japan as commercial director, and in 2019 he was appointed regional head of the Japan desk in Hong Kong, overseeing credit insurance services for Japanese companies across Asia.

He holds a bachelor of law degree from Chuo University.
