AIA Singapore, Mount Alevernia collaborate for cost-efficient healthcare

The MoU builds on AIA Singapore’s healthcare initiatives rollout in 2024.

AIA Singapore has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mount Alvernia Hospital to collaborate on sustainable healthcare solutions and deliver affordable care.

The agreement was signed by AIA Singapore CEO Wong Sze Keed and Mount Alvernia CEO James Lam.

The partnership will focus on advancing healthcare solutions, creating cost-effective models for AIA policyholders and Mount Alvernia patients, and sharing expertise to strengthen Singapore’s healthcare sector.

The MoU builds on AIA Singapore’s rollout in 2024 of on-demand teleconsultations, mental wellness services, paediatric care, and home health screenings for policyholders.

The insurer also enhanced corporate policies in October 2024 with expanded inpatient mental health coverage and other benefits at no additional premiums, covering over 1.3 million employees. This is more than 20% of Singapore’s population.
