YAS Insurtech and TADA launch real-time ride cover in Hong Kong

Coverage activates at the start of each trip and ends when at the destination.

YAS Insurtech and TADA, Asia’s zero-commission ride-hailing platform, launched in Hong Kong to provide automatic, real-time insurance for every ride.

Coverage activates at the start of each trip and remains in effect until the passenger reaches their destination.

TADA’s zero-commission model lets drivers keep all their earnings whilst offering transparent fares. YAS’s blockchain-based engine issues and settles policies instantly.

The launch comes as the Asia-Pacific ride-hailing market, valued at $44.06b in 2024, is projected to grow 11% annually through 2031. Globally, the market is forecast to reach $441.2b by 2032.
