Generali appoints Giulio Terzariol as Group Deputy CEO after board approval

Generali said the CEO Insurance role will be discontinued.

Generali Group has announced the appointment of Giulio Terzariol as Direttore Generale – Group Deputy CEO.

The move is intended to support the delivery of its “Lifetime Partner 27: Driving Excellence” strategy and strengthen governance across its core businesses.

The board has assigned Terzariol responsibility for managing the group’s insurance business and overseeing Banca Generali. These duties will be carried out in line with the directives of the Group CEO.

The appointment will take effect once IVASS completes the required Fit & Proper assessment.

Generali said the CEO Insurance role will be discontinued once Terzariol formally assumes his new position.
