KoverNow launches watch insurance through Watch Exchange

Luxury timepiece buyers can secure worldwide protection at checkout or later.

KoverNow has partnered with Watch Exchange, a luxury watch dealer in Singapore, to offer digital insurance coverage for high-value timepieces.

Under the partnership, customers purchasing watches through Watch Exchange can obtain insurance with worldwide coverage backed by AXA XL. 

The digital process provides instant quotes based on market value and allows customers to activate coverage either at the point of purchase or afterwards. The insurance covers accidental damage, loss and theft.

Watch Exchange, which specialises in buying and selling luxury watches, said the partnership adds a protection option to its customer offering, allowing buyers to insure their watches as part of the purchase journey.

The agreement marks KoverNow's first retail deployment under its insurance intermediary relationship with AXA XL in Singapore.
