Allianz ranks 11th in finance workplace list

Great Place To Work surveyed 18,712 employees across Australia in finance and insurance.

Allianz Group has been recognised as one of Australia's Best Workplaces in Finance & Insurance 2026, ranking 11th in the inaugural list released by workplace culture authority Great Place To Work.

The ranking is based on feedback from 18,712 employees across Australia's finance and insurance sector. Great Place To Work said the 15 organisations on the list demonstrate that investment in workplace culture can improve employee engagement and retention.

Bizcap Australia topped the rankings, followed by EML Group and Jacaranda Finance. The list includes a mix of specialist financial firms, global insurers, challenger lenders and payments companies.

According to the survey, 93% of employees at the organisations recognised said they were proud to tell others where they work, compared with 60% at typical Australian workplaces. 

Meanwhile, 88% said they wanted to remain with their employer for a long time, compared with 56% at typical workplaces.

Rebecca Moulynox, General Manager of Great Place To Work Australia and New Zealand, said competition for talent across the finance and insurance industry remains strong.

"Every finance and insurance business in the country is fighting for the same people right now, and the companies on this list have worked out that the best way to win that fight is to be somewhere people want to stay," she said.

She added that whilst the industry often focuses on building trust with customers, the results showed that trust also begins with employees.
