Singapore IPs, IP riders to cover nCov medical expenses

Many non-IP individual and group health insurance policies will also cover medical costs.

The General Insurance Association of Singapore (GIA) and Life Insurance Association of Singapore (LIA) have clarified in a joint statement that Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) and IP riders will cover hospitalisation expenses related to the coronavirus.

Many non-IP individual and group health insurance policies will also cover medical costs.

Policyholders who want to know more about their insurance benefits, and terms and conditions can approach their insurers. Employers with group policies are urged to renew their documents and talk to insurers regarding coverage.
