AIA Group posts 25% rise in Q3 2025 new business value to $1.5b
The company said this marked its highest-ever VONB for a third quarter.
AIA Group Limited’s third quarter of 2025 (Q3 2025) value of new business (VONB) rose 25% year-on-year to $1.48b on a constant exchange rate basis.

VONB margin improved to 58.2%, up 5.7 percentage points from a year earlier, whilst annualised new premiums (ANP) grew 14% to $2.55b.
The gains were supported by broad-based performance across Hong Kong, Mainland China, ASEAN markets, and India.
In Hong Kong, VONB surged 40% to a record quarterly level, boosted by both local and Mainland Chinese visitor demand.
AIA China reported a 27% VONB increase, supported by strong growth in protection products and continued geographical expansion.
Thailand delivered 20% growth, whilst AIA Singapore also posted strong results driven by agency recruitment and high-net-worth customer sales through its partnerships.
Across ASEAN, VONB rose 15% year-on-year, whilst Tata AIA Life, the Group’s joint venture in India, maintained its top industry ranking in retail protection.
