Allianz APAC unveils regional delivery hub
It aims to revamp its IT services and capabilities.
Allianz Asia Pacific (AZAP) has officially inaugurated its Regional Delivery Centre (RDC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This RDC marks a significant step for AZAP as it aims to revamp its IT services and capabilities, transitioning to a standardised and industrialised operating model.
The virtual launch of the RDC was officiated by Deputy Finance Minister II Steven Sim Chee Keong at the Aloft Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
In collaboration with Allianz Technology SE (AzT), the Group's technology division responsible for data and digital services, AZAP is centralising all of its IT supply capabilities within the region to enhance operational efficiency.

The RDC started operations on 4 October, located on Level 17 of Menara Allianz Sentral. It will offer IT services to Allianz Operating Entities (OEs) in Southeast Asia.
Malaysia was chosen as the location for the RDC due to its central geographic position in the region and its access to a skilled workforce with the appropriate skill sets to drive the project's success.
“The setup of the RDC is the next major step forward in our quest for technological excellence. The centre will allow us to consolidate our best practices and supercharge our IT service delivery to not just Allianz Malaysia but to all our operating entities in the Southeast Asian region.” Allianz Malaysia Berhad CEO Sean Wang remarked.
