Allianz China, Fudan University partner to boost insurance research
The centre will focus on tech, risk management, and ageing population.
Allianz announced a partnership with Fudan University to address challenges in China's insurance and finance sector through the establishment of the Fudan-Allianz Finance and Insurance Research Centre.
The centre will focus on issues such as technological innovation, risk management, and the needs of an ageing population.
The partnership also includes the sponsorship of Allianz Auditorium, a facility in Fudan University’s School of Economics that will host events aimed at enhancing public financial literacy and facilitating dialogue within the financial sector.
The partnership was launched during a ceremony attended by Wu Wei, Vice Mayor of Shanghai; Gu Jun, Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai; Qiu Xin, Chair of Fudan University’s Council; and senior representatives from Allianz, including Renate Wagner, Member of the Board of Management at Allianz SE, and Danny Lam, CEO of Allianz China Holding.
