Allianz Commercial unveils new Board structure from January 2026

It also named Christian Sandric president for Asia-Pacific.

Allianz Commercial will implement a new Board structure from 1 January, 2026, to sharpen its focus on key markets and strengthen client and broker engagement.

Jeremy Sharpe, currently Global head of Distribution, will join the Board of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE as Chief Distribution Officer, overseeing global sales, marketing, and distribution, including multinational insurance operations.

Christian Sandric, now Regional managing director for Asia, has been appointed President, Commercial, Asia-Pacific, based in Singapore.

Presidents for the UK and EMEA will be announced later. Until then, CEO Thomas Lillieund will oversee those markets with support from Sharpe and Chief Claims Officer Thomas Sepp.

The changes replace the Chief Regions Officer, International role held by Dr. Dirk Vogler, who will take a new position within Allianz Group. Shanil Williams continues as President, Commercial, Americas.
