Allianz Global announces new CFO for corporate and specialty

Claire-Marie Coste-Lepoutre will take over Oskar Buchauer.

Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty SE (AGCS) has named Oskar Buchauer as its new chief financial officer (CFO), beginning 1 September.

Claire-Marie Coste-Lepoutre, who has been AGCS' CFO for over four years, will take over Buchauer's current role of head of Allianz Group Actuarial, Planning and Controlling and Group Chief Actuary at Allianz SE.

In this role, she will collaborate closely with Allianz Group CFO Giulio Terzariol to oversee key strategic and financial functions across all divisions of the Allianz Group: Property/Casualty Insurance (P&C), Life/Health Insurance, and Asset Management.

Buchauer, on the other hand, will take on the role of CFO at AGCS during a transformative period, as Allianz Commercial and Allianz OEs globally enter a new phase of collaboration to establish a strong presence in the Commercial P&C segment (Mid Corp, Large Corp, and Specialty). 

He will assume direct responsibility for Finance on the Board of AGCS SE, which includes Accounting, Treasury & Tax, Actuarial, Compliance, Finance Solutions, Global Performance Steering, and Risk Management.
